Having a professional background and a key understanding of all aspects of motorcycling, from utilising motorcycles as a means of transport for work, mentoring young race talent and also as a racer, I believe that in order for our entire sport to grow and be more financially and socially sustainable, there needs to be a refocus on delivering and managing our governing body to provide for development of our sport in a professional and business like manner. The last few years have taught us three key things, 1. Our entire sport needs to be focused not just on tomorrow, but in the years and months ahead, 2. We owe it to the young people within in our sport now, and those coming into the sport to guarantee them a thriving and fun sport over the years ahead, and 3. To manage and ensure that the governing body adapts and focuses on building a financial and sound organisation that can provide a sport and supports for all disciplines and fans. My focus is not on one discipline, it is focused on all disciplines and all riders, professional, amateur and casual motorcyclists to have a sport, and a governing body to be proud of.

I believe that my professional experience, combined with my deep passion for motorcycling and road racing, would make me a strong and effective Finance Director on the MCI Board. Being aware that every element and discipline are all inter-linked and without one over another means our entire sport would be worse of.

Whether it’s off-road, road racing, or track events, I love being in the thick of the action. I’m very much a roll-up-your-sleeves kind of person, and I take pride in doing whatever is needed to make events successful.

Professionally, I work as the Transport Director for a busy waste transport company. I’m well-versed in legal compliance and regularly attend board meetings as part of my role. I’m responsible for preparing and presenting a range of reports, including fuel, safety, compliance, and transport budgeting. I also maintain transport finance records and work closely with the accounts team each month to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Despite my road racing background, I am a motorcycle sport fan first and foremost, and as such I want every discipline to grow and be supported by Motorcycling Ireland. I’m committed, hands-on, and financially experienced — and I would be proud to bring those qualities to this role.

As the owner of an Irish and International award-winning wedding business, I bring a creative and professional approach to my work in the motorcycle world. With years of involvement as a grid girl, spanner hand, and a supporter of the engineering side of racing, I have gained a deep understanding of the entire motorcycle sport and its needs.

Over the last number of years, I have built up numerous contacts within both national print media as well as contacts in national broadcasters such as RTE, all of whom I can work with to ensure that our entire motorcycle sport and community takes prominence again for all the right reasons as our national teams compete in overseas competitions such as our brilliant off-road teams who have been flying both the national flag and representing the MCUI and MCI.

With a vision to take the sport to new heights, I am dedicated to making a lasting impact on motorcycle racing community. My unique blend of experience, expertise, and passion, positions me well to make a significant difference in the sport.
